--WebTV-Mail-19709-6152 Content-Type: Text/Plain; Charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit Hello, Charles, Mike, Listers-- Sorry did not get that signed but did give me a chance to check the site: I left out a "n" in connect so it wont work, sorry...if I retype it could leave out something else....you do it OK. If I got any more mail on this yesteerday please resubmit or consider it aswered.....my webtv was crashed with a 93-page file from a computer. Just a word to those who do not know about webtv......storage is limited and mailboxes hold up to 150 short messages.....long messages like most of us write.....probably 50 and donot know how 93 pages fit...it got in there but filled up and shut it down. Printed it for future computer scanning. Also, webtv will not read computer language and will not pick up all attachments. Computer purchase soons possible...this genealogy game is too big for this machine and really do love writing on it. Thanks for your patience. BELCHER B. 1810 TO Isham BELCHER (b. 13 Oct. 1769 Bedford Co.,VA) and Nancy BLANKENSHIP (B. ca. 1770) and m. 1809 VA (Unless typo, they were m after 3 of their kids were born???--also Henry D. and Judy A. born both in 1810) Children listed: Macajah, b. 1804 Tazewell VA; Jude b. 1806; Asa b. 1807 VA, enry D. b. 1810 VA, Judy A. b. 1810; Moses b. 19 Feb. 1811 Tazewell VA; James C. b. 1814 VA; Robert D. b. 1820 VA, Jonathan b. 1824 VA This seems to be a well researched family, this from Connie J. Hickey entries of RootsWeb's WorldConnect Project http://worldconect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&id=l1214&db=cowbird. I have not checked this site out very much so do not know how far back it goes; however, Jeannie Clark Ancesters FTM takes this family way way back. I do know from a census McDowell Co.,WVA Judy A. BELCHER , who m William M. PAYNE 1830 had children, and at least one girl m. a BELCHER, think name was Leonard (going from memory). Our deadend is where and what about William M. PAYNE...WHO,HOW,WHAT, WHEN,WHERE, AND WHY. ALSO, never have seen any info on Nancy BLANKENSHIP.
