    3. Hi I only have my Belchers back to 1830--William L. Belcher bn 1830 Pike Co KY, but lived in Wise Co VA, died in 1871. Parents were John and Sarah, but can't find them on any records except Wm's death certificate. Blevins ancestors were Jacob and Sarah Blevins bn bef 1810. They are in Scott and Wise Co VA censuses. 2. JUST LETTIN EVERYONE KNOW This message just came across the Roots-L List, I've copied it for us. ==================================================== GOLDBUG@aol.com There was a place called Belcher in Washington County, NY. Latitude 43 degrees 17 minutes, Longitude 73 degrees 23 minutes. DeLorme's Street Atlas USA shows it ... appears to be a pretty tiny town.

TN I am researching my Hale side from Tennessee but I don't know which county. I have been told around the Coumberland Gap. My hale was Joseph Carroll Hale and he moved to Faulkner County Arkansas because he is listed on the 1880 Census. He died in 1903. All I know is that he said his mother was from Ireland. Where are your Hale's from? Soni. I also have Belcher's but they were from Georgia, and Mississippi.

    2. Looking for information on Mary R. Belcher. The only thing that I know about her is that she was born in 1815, and died 1900. This information is on a head stone that is in the William Mire cemetery in Grant/Pendleton Co., Ky. Could she be a relative to William Mire, or to his wife Catherine Nunnery. Would appreciate any help in trying to identify Mary. Thank You. Nancy Bray
