Chuck and/or Dolly: Have you communicated with Walter Bailey? He has a lot of information on Elsie Bailey. Not much on Leonard, but you might try writing Walter to see if he could give you any leads on Leonard. Click on (or copy and paste) the following WorldConnect link for Walter's data and e-mail address: http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=baileycou lter&id=I00661 Do you happen to know where Leonard was born? He may have lived all his married life in Mercer Co, but may not have been born and/or raised there. (My grandmother was a Belcher, b. McDowell Co, where she grew up, but then she lived the rest of her life in Bluefield, Mercer Co WV.) I will check one more source for you too, but it would help if you knew his father's name. Good luck. Vicki
I'm searching for info on my grandfather Leonard Thomas Belcher. He married Elsie Bailey. They lived most of their married lives in Mercer County, McComas, WV. If Leonard's age is correct on my mother's birth certificate then he was born around 1898. The stories I've been told is that his father who was the Belcher died when he was just a baby, and his mother remarried a Kimmons, but no one seems to remember anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks
