It will give you a free hour to search immediately. I have found one of my lines back to Ireland in 600. I volunteer at a Family History Center and I have also found gedcoms on there for people who come to the center and hit dead ends. The free month is if you send it your gedcom. LDS IGI has a John Belcher married to a susan hodges 15 Jan 1856 in Jefferson County Alabama John Belcher married a Susan C. Abbott 18 Dec 1856 in Perry County Alabama John W. Belcher married a Sarah Ann Graham 13 July 1871 in Jefferson County Alabama There are about 13 entries for John Belcher in Alabama in the IGI (old version). Holmes Peterson in 1906. He died in 1924 in Riverside Co. CA. In 1880 he and Elizabeth Belcher were living in Greenbrier Co. WV. I just wondered if he could have been with the congregation of Mr. Riffe that went to Riffe Lake area?
