Sallye: Good catch! I did have Joel married a third time to a Mary H Whitaker, but I had assumed incorrectly that Whitaker was Mary H's maiden name. Obviously, she married someone by the name of Whitaker previously. Do the marriage records you have show what Mr. Whitaker's first name was and what her maiden name was?
