    3. The dialogue on this list seems to have dropped off dramatically, of late. What's wrong out there? Let's get this list going again. In an attempt to inject some viagra into the old boy, I offer the following: In going through the Clermont County deed index again, I picked up something that I had missed previously, that I think is interesting. It turns out that Jacob Kinsey (father of Susanna and Sarah who married Jonathan Beckelhymer and Enoch Beckelhymer, respectively) lived for a time in Clermont County. Apparently he came with the other Beckelhymers from Franklin County, VA, stopping in Clermont County before moving on to Preble County, OH where he died. He bought 300 acres of land from Nathaniel Lucas in 1803 (Book C2, p. 211). There are 3 other transactions where he sells land, 114-2/5 acres in 1806 to Enoch Parvin (Book E4. p. 17), 136 acres in 1815 to Samuel Ricker (Book M11, p. 382) and 110 acres in 1816 to Elijah Ward (Book U19, p. 88). The Enoch Parvin transaction is interesting as he was the father of Mary Parvin who married Samuel Beckelhymer. There was one other transaction for Enoch Parvin (his heirs, actually) 108 acres in 1825 from James Taylor (Book X22, p. 172). This deed has the potential for providing some interesting genealogical data. Abraham Stoner, Sarah Beckelhymer's second husband (after Enoch) also lived in Clermont County. I haven't checked the deeds out yet, but if you go to the Clermont County US GEN web page (http://rootsweb.com/~ohclermont/resource.htm) and click on Obannon/Stonelick Church, there is a very interesting history of the Brethren Church in Clermont written by Merle Rummel, the church historian. Many of the prominent Clermont County families are mentioned. It is highly recommended reading. The Stoners were one of the Brethren families mentioned. I wonder if Merle has anything on Abraham who married Sarah in Preble County, OH. Merle? John Charles Tippet JohnDoeTippet@csi.com
