Cathy, I have a note attached to the James & Margaret Purkhiser Beckelhymer file that someone had a query re Hannah & Henry F. Stultz Beckelhymer, who was a daughter of James & Margaret and a sister of Jackson C. (brother to Hannah. I noted the query as 12-8-98, apparently did not answer it but he stated that Henry F. Stultz was born 9-21-1837 in Batavia, Clermont, OH, was a sgt in Co L - 5th Ohio Cav, and they went to Rockwall Co, TX after the war. His name was Eugene Fowlkes, and his e-mail was efowikes@worldnet.att.net. Maybe he is still there and you can get more info from him. Hope this will help you. If you don't get help there, I believe Clermont Co Gen Soc published a book in 1980 and had most of James & Margaret Purkhiser Beckelhymer family in it....."1980 Clermont Co, OH". I don't think we can be certain who the parents are of James.
