    3. Fellow Behymer/Kinsey researchers: Courtesy of fellow genealogist, John Hale Stutesman, whom I met via Merle Rummel on the Brethren mailing list, I am pleased to provide the following information regarding Sarah Kinsey, wife of (1) Enoch Behymer and (2) Abraham Stoner. She is enumerated on the 1840 census of Porter County, IN, living next door to her stepson, Daniel Stoner. She is also enumerated in the 1850 census in Morgan township, Porter County, IN along with Jacob Stoner (26), Aaron Stoner (24) and Elizabeth Stoner (21), the last two being her children by Abraham. In the 1850 census, she lists her age as 65, born in KY. Mr. Stutesman has not found Sarah in any census for 1830. In the Adams Cemetery for Morgan township, Porter County, IN is a gravestone that reads: Sarah Stoner, wife of Abram, d. 10 May 1856, (age) 70y 1d. That would mean that she was born 9 May 1786. Aaron Stoner, born Nov 1825 in Montgomery County, OH married Hannah ? (1823 - 1898) died 31 Jan 1877 in Porter County, IN. Elizabeth Stoner, born 1828 in Montgomery County, OH married ? and died after 1849 in ? On 30 Dec 1828, Abraham Stoner recorded his will in Montgomery County, OH bequeathing a third of his estate to "his beloved wife, Sarah as long as she remains my widdow". He also bequeathed to his son, John part of his land, and he appointed son, Abraham and wife, Sarah as his executors. His will was probated 9 Mar 1829 (Will Book B, p. 59). There was no mention of any of Abraham's Beckelhymer step children. Mr Stutesman does not have an obituary from Porter County, IN for Sarah. Abraham Stoner was the son of Philip and Platina (Stutzman) Stoner, hence the connection to Mr Stutesman. >From the above, we can conclude that the approximate date of birth that I had for Enoch, i.e., circa 1785 is probably not very far off the mark. I am also of the suspicion (but have no 100% proof) that the Joel Behymer who married Sarah Miller in Montgomery County, OH on 1 May 1828 and the Jacob who, with wife, Pricilla, shows up in the land transactions for Montgomery County, OH in the 1823 to 1829 timeframe are children of Enoch and Sarah.
