    3. Twila: By Jonathan, I assume you mean John, Sr in my descendancy narrative. I do not think you are being too bold, as the whole idea behind my posting the genealogy to the new web site was to get a discussion (and validation) going on any and all info that is posted there in order to arrive at the definitive version of this family's history. In fact, I am enheartened by your question, as I have not received much feedback to date. I am sure that Sallye Gundy would agree with this! So by all means, question anything that looks suspect or needs clarification. I don't have my notes in front of me, but I believe the newspaper article is from the Clermont Courier circa 1893. I received a copy of it more than 20 years ago from noted Behymer researcher, Ralph Behymer. It is not too long, and I had previously sent (months ago) a scanned image of this article to Jennifer Black with the hope that she would post it to the original Behymer web page, but nothing ever came of that. If time permits, I will see if I can upload this to the new web site this weekend. The main problem here is I have to figure out how to create an image file with my scanner that is small enough to be practical (and readable) to upload to the Internet. BTW: I am still waiting for some microfilms that I ordered from the Ohio Historical Society of early Clermont Courier newspapers, one of which, includes this article. In addition to this article, the other two primary references for the children of John, Sr are the Behymer diary of Aaron Sargent Behymer (see Jennifer Black's Behymer home page) and the Evert's History of Clermont County, OH. I have scanned the later, and will try to post this to the web site this weekend as well. Regards... John Charles Tippet JohnDoeTippet@csi.com P.S. I am related to Joseph Behymer. He is my ggg grandfather! ---------- > From: Veysey <veysey@coos.or.us> > To: BEHYMER-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Questions > Date: Wednesday, September 23, 1998 11:12 PM > > John T. > > If I may be so bold, how did you select the sons and daughters of > Jonathan? > > Is the newspaper article mentioned in endnotes numbers 3 and 4 very > long?
