Growing up without knowing any of my relatives on my father's side (Behymer), I was under the impression that my immediate family were the only Behymer's around! Boy, was I mistaken! I remember when I first started researching my family, I didn't even check out the names Bechtelsheimer, Beckelsimer, Pickelsimer, etc. because I had no idea that these were original forms of the name Behymer. Only when I found the Behymer website did I begin to realize the connection and how many Behymer's there are. I may have missed all this fun if I hadn't spotted that Behymer name! Linda >> I completely agree! Except for my uncle's sons, I thought the name of Behymer was dying out. I had no idea there were so many "cousins" in the world. Please keep the name Behymer in there somewhere for those of us who don't know of all the variations and connections to other names. It would be wonderful to hear from someone who is related to the Behymers in Bethel, Williamsburg, and Batavia, Ohio (descendants of James Beckelhymer). Cathy
