Frances, It would appear that your Pickelsimer/Picklesimer lines are related to the other branches of the family that settled in eastern Kentucky, northern Kentucky, southern Ohio and the branch that remained in Virginia. Your branch of the family descended from Henry Pickelsimer that first moved from Virginia to Pendleton County, South Carolina. He was known as Henry (Sr.) and his eldest son, Henry (Jr.). Henry (Sr.) also had three other sons, Abraham, David and John. I have not done an extensive amount of research on this line but there is a lady by the name of Penny Picklesimer that lives in Augusta, Georgia, that has.
