A few additions: John, Sr and first wife, Sophia Slingluff likely had one other child in addition to Sophia, i.e., John III b. 1780 who later shows up in Lawrence County, IN and Fulton County, IL. I forgot to mention that Abraham, Jr b. 1772 also fits in nicely as a child of John, Sr and Anne born between Anne and Nathaniel. ---------- > From: John Tippet <johndoetippet@csi.com> > To: BEHYMER-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: An observation > Date: Sunday, April 11, 1999 5:51 PM > > One of the great Behymer mysteries is whether Jacob, Daniel and Joel were > children of John Sr, or John, Jr. There has been a lot of discussion on > this list in the past on this topic.
