sorry forgot to put this, after talking to leah brown, about her Elizabeth, the way she arrived at the date of birth was by seeing it on Elizabeth's gravestone. She sent me a copy of Mary(that is what the certificate says) and Henderson Sutphins' marriage certificate from VA. It states that Mary is 24 years old in January of 1859. It puts their marriage date at January 20, 1859. That would have her being born 1834/1835. I can't figure out how both of their birthdates could be 1835 unless they had different mothers. not to add to the confusion.
