Sandy Berger's lying, and you can see from the pained look on his face, that he really {knows} that he's lying. First of all, in November, when President Clinton, at the 11th hour, called off the bombings of Iraq, because he was not convinced that there was a viable military mission, and he knew that there would be very high civilian casualties, about the only person on the National Security team who sided with the President, was Sandy Berger. So, Berger himself, at least back in November, was not an enthusiast for the bombing, at least as far as we know. Now, what happened, is that from the moment that Clinton said no, the British government, in conjunction with people like Madeleine Half-Bright, and, most emphatically, Vice President Al Gore, from inside the government -- in other words, this secret team that Kissinger has been saying is in the transition power -- had been plotting to make sure that the bombing did happen at the next available pretext. Every critical step in this process that followed, occurred while President Clinton was out of the country, out of the loop, and unavailable even to be consulted. Remember, of course, that the President stayed in Washington shortly after he called (off) the bombing (in November), and was unable to attend the APEC meeting in Malaysia, where he would have had a chance to meet with Primakov, with President Jiang Zemin of China. Instead, he sent Al Gore. And Gore carried out an overt provocation, to begin the process of severing the United States from the Land-Bridge partnership, with his scathing and ham-fisted public attack against Prime Minister Mahathir. {This was calculated to please his British friends, to please George Soros, and to begin the process of destroying the ability of the United States to play a viable foreign policy role in the world in this period of crisis.} So, President Clinton called off the bombing, and then he left to complete the Asia trip by going to Japan and South Korea. And soon as he left town, Tony Blair, who, along with Margaret Thatcher, {was hysterical, was incensed,} that President Clinton had not ordered the bombing, sent his defense minister, George Robertson, to Washington, to make sure that Gore was on board, that Cohen and Shelton from the Pentagon were on board, to toughen up Madeleine Half-Bright, so that when the next opportunity arose, Clinton would have no choice but to sign on to the bombing. And again, the timing was everything. They waited until President Clinton again left the country, on a highly dangerous and, frankly, not very crucial diplomatic mission, to try to salvage the Wye Plantation peace process, at a point that Netanyahu was already committed to destroying it. So, there was very little to be accomplished, other than getting President Clinton out of town, so that the so-called Secret Committee could meet behind his back, and deliberate on the report that was delivered by UNSCOM head Richard Butler, a career British Commonwealth foreign service agent and provocateur. Butler's report, which everybody knows, including Sandy Berger, was a complete travesty, a complete hoax, claiming Iraqi non-compliance with the UNSCOM inspections. The actual fact of the matter is that there was virtually complete compliance. The issues that were in conflict, were inconsequential, and frankly mostly UNSCOM provocations. But the fact is, the phony Butler report was delivered in Washington {while President Clinton was away in the Middle East, completely bogged down with the Israel-Palestine crisis.} The decision was made by people behind Clinton's back, led by Al Gore and his advisor, Leon Fuerth, who has been accused publicly of being one of the moles for the Netanyahu government inside Washington. Perhaps he's the spy codenamed "Mega," who's been a target of investigation for the last two years. Nevertheless, first in Israel and then on Air Force One, flying back to the United States, President Clinton was played to his baby-boomer profile, and told "Mr. President, there's a consensus. Everybody on the Secret Committee agrees that the bombing must begin now. You've got to decide, even before you get back to Washington." They used the excuse that the Islamic holiday of Ramadan was about to begin. And so, President Clinton was backed into a corner. He caved in -- against his better judgment. As the result of that, the world is a lot closer to an outbreak of not just financial chaos, but outright military confrontation, possibly nuclear war. When Clinton failed to stick to his guns and say "No bombing against Iraq," this was a message to Russia, to China, to the Arab world, to other really serious potential allies all over this planet, that he had become a captive of the process of the impeachment coup against him. Russia is now openly talking about the fact that they're going to be expanding and deploying a new generation of intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads. This is something they were going to do, but it would have been a quiet, inconsequential thing. {Now, it's a necessary cornerstone of Russian foreign policy.} The Chinese vehemently denounced what the United States did. And earlier, there had been, since the Bush-Thatcher period, a kind of a move towards world government through the United Nations Security Council. Now, you've got a phenomenon where the British, through Al Gore, and through this coup d'etat against the U.S. Presidency, are pushing the idea that it's going to be an Anglo-American/Churchillian world government structure -- an American-Anglo imperialism -- TONY PAPERT: World dictatorship, yeah. JEFF STEINBERG: World dictatorship. It's the old Churchill/Truman "British brains, American brawn." But this still is predicated on getting rid of Bill Clinton. I can't emphasize that enough.
