Thanks to Linda, we have partially solved another Behymer individual Note: Jacob Rardin and wife Elizabeth lived in Campbell Co, KY. They apparently lived close to Martin & Elizabeth Behymer and all are buried (maybe with the exception of Martin's wife) in the Rardin Private Cemetery, Campbell Co, KY. Jacob Rardin departed this life June 8, 1854...79yrs, 19days Elizabeth Behymer Rardin died Sept 23, 1862..61yrs. This Elizabeth was a dau of John & Barbara Behymer. I assume that the Walter Rardin was one of their children. Bert is going to send me a copy of the list of people buried there, and I am going to contact the Campbell Co Historical Society for any other information they might have on the Rardin family, etc. Elizabeth Behymer would have been born about 1801 instead of 1788...which may allow some of the others in Clermont, such as Solomon, Daniel, Joel, Jacob to be sons of John, Jr. Sure wish I could find John and Barbara's marr. date. It may be that John was married 2X. I believe the Campbell County Historical Society has a list of those buried there. I will try to find out. I do have a partial list I made in 1977. I will list those few names I have. Walter S. son of James & Marha Rardin b Sept 10,1849 d July 27, 1850. Martin Behymer Ohio Mil. War of 1812 (military headstone) Wm. Killinger 1835-1922 Jacob Rardin who departed this life June 8, 1854. 79 yrs and 19 days. Elizabeth wife of Jacob Rardin died Sept 23, 1862. aged 61 yrs. part of this stone broken off: Douglas L.........son......A&J........die...... July 27..................... 2yrs......................=09 and 1 day=09 Suffer little children to come unto me Augusta W. wife of William Killinger b Jan 11, 1845 d Jan 6, 1880=09 Death lies on her lilie an untimely frost upon the sweetest flower of all the field. That is all I have in my notes. I believe the cemetery is still exists. = A lot of these old family cemeteries are disappearing. We are doing what we can to preserve them.
