    3. Sallye: Thanks for clearing up the story on Esther Behymer. I had mistakenly assumed that Esther France was married 1st to Levi Behymer, 2nd to John Gray and 3rd to James John. Now I know that Esther France, born circa 1777 and Esther Behymer, born 26 Nov 1812 were two separate people. Another very interesting piece of data in your reply is the age at marriage of Esther France to her 2nd husband, John Gray. If Esther France were born circa 1777, then likely her first husband, Levi Behymer, was born circa 1776. This makes him much older than I had expected. In fact, it makes him too old to have been the son of John, Jr's wife, Barbara Weddle (assuming the DAR ladies got it right when they read her tombstone as being born 11 Apr 1764). In fact, it makes him older than John, III (of Fulton County, IL) born 12 Mar 1780. Of cource, John, Jr could have been married prior to his marriage to Barbara Weddle. Do you have a family group sheet on this line that you could send me? I am interested in your sources for this information.
