Jeanne: How is it that you know that your John Washington Mahoney married a Beckelhymer and that she died in Delaware County, IN? Do you have a death date? Do you know where they were married? I did some checking of the census indices on the Ancestry.com web site for John Mahoney (there were a lot of them), but the following are probably of interest, especially the last one: 1850, John Mahoney, Montgomery County, OH, Van Buren township, p. 73 1860, John Mahoney, Delaware County, IN, Harrison township, p. 398 1860, John W.
