    3. Bev: I just read your e-mail and find it very interesting. My husband is a descendant of Joel Behymer and his family legend has it that he was also descended from Robert, the Bruce (but we have not been able to trace his Bruce lineage very far). It comes from George W. Bruce in Kentucky, down from Lodowick Fry, a Revolutionary War soldier. If you have the descendants of Robert, the Bruce, could you check to see if a George Bruce is in it. If so, please let me know. Do you have Joel Behymer or his mother, Eve Franke, in your line. If so I can supply their descendants through Elizabeth "Fanny" Behymer who married James Taylor Robb in Clermont County, OH. My husband's cousin, Clifford Hughes, still resides in Amelia and we visit about once a year. He is active in the Clermont County Historical Society. Hope to hear from you.
