Rick: Many thanks for the kind words and more importantly on the data on the Waggoners and Becketts (and Solomon Behymer) you provided. I have on order microfilms for Montgomery County, VA from my local LDS library (as well as for Preble County, OH and Lawrence County, IN). These are mostly indexes of land transactions. It seems that the Becketts didn't make it to Franklin County, VA, so am anxious to see what I find in Montgomery County for them. I think I also ordered the probate records for Botetourt County, but I can't quite remember. You have spurred me on to transcribe the will of Melcher Waggoner so here goes.
