    3. The following 3 deeds, for which I am including excerpts, are quite interesting: On 21 Nov 1826, Juliana Kinsey, widow of Jacob Kinsey, deceased and John Kinsey, Jacob Kinsey (of Hamilton County, OH), Daniel Kinsey, David Kinsey, Martin Reed, Catharine Burk and Joseph Overholtz, children and heirs of said Deceased and Sally Beckleshimer sold to Jonathan Beckleshimer for $100, 26 acres of land on the West side of the South West quarter of Section 7 of township 4 in Range 3 East in Preble County, OH. Signatories at the bottom of the deed were: Martin Reed and Elizabeth Reed (both of Hamilton County, OH), John Kinsey, Katharine Burk, Juliann Kinsey, Daniel Kinsey, David Kinsey, Joseph Overholtz, Hannah Overholtz, Abraham Stoner and Sally Stoner (both of Montgomery County, OH). On 19 Aug 1826, John Kinsey, David Kinsey, Joseph Overholtz and Hannah, his wife, late Hannah Kinsey of Preble County, OH and Jacob Kinsey, Martin Reed and Elizabeth Reed, his wife, late Elizabeth Kinsey of Hamilton County, OH, Jonathan Becelhimer and Susannah, his wife, late Susannah Kinsey, of Clermont County, OH, Abr. Stoner and Sally Stoner, his wife, late Sally Kinsey, of Montgomery County, OH, Caty Burk, widow of James Burk, late Caty Kinsey of Butler County, OH, heirs of Jacob Kinsey, deceased of Preble County, OH sold to Daniel Kinsey of Preble County, OH for $400, 65 acres and 80 perches of land beginning at the South East corner of the South West quarter of Section 7, Township 4, Range 3 East, adjoining Beclehimer's line. On 18 Aug 1826, John Kinsey, Daniel Kinsey, Joseph Overholtz and Hannah, his wife, late Hannah Kinsey, of Preble County, OH and Jacob Kinsey, Martin Reed and Elizabeth Reed, formerly Elizabeth Kinsey of Hamilton County, OH, Jonathan Beclehimer and Susanah Beckelhimer, his wife, formerly Susanah Kinsey, of Clermont County, OH, Abraham Stoner and Sally, his wife, formerly Sally Kinsey, of Montgomery County, OH and Caty Burk, widow of James Burk, deceased of Butler County, OH sold to David Kinsey of Preble County, OH for $400, 65 acres and 80 perches of land beginning at the North East corner of the South West quarter of Section 7, Township 4, Range 3 East, adjoining Beckelhimer's line. >From the above, I conclude: (1) Jacob and Julianna Kinsey were the parents of Jonathan Beckelhymer's wife, Susannah (2) Sally Kinsey, daughter of Jacob Kinsey, was first married to a Beckelhymer and then later to Abraham Stoner. We know that a Sally Beckelhymer shows up living next door to Jonathan Beckelhymer per the 1820 census for Preble County, OH. It seems likely that she was Jacob Kinsey's daugher. I would guess that she was married to Enoch Beckelhymer as Enoch (with wife, Sally) died circa 9 Jul 1816 per the Clermont County probate records. There was also a David Beckelhymer (with wife, Elizabeth) who circa died 31 Jul 1818 per the Clermont County probate records who obviously could not have been Sally's husband. In addtion there is a David Beckelhymer who married Sarah Moore circa 14 Jun 1802 in Franklin County, VA who is a possibility. I am leaning towards Enoch as Sally Kinsey's husband because of the Clermont County connection where Jonathan and his wife were living for a time. We need to find more information on David and Sarah Moore, however, to rule them out. What do others think? Does anyone have any data on David and Sarah? John Charles Tippet JohnDoeTippet@csi.com
