Apparently George Behymer came up with this court paper from his father's things (Joel) and showed it to Ralph. He in turn sent Mary Bell Crosier the material I got from some of the letters that went on between them. It appears that France's will indicated family in his will. Mary Belle as well as the rest of us, decided that Mary had to be the wife of Daniel, however we never found a marriage date in Clermont. Did not check Hamilton Co, as it could have taken place there. Did not find marriage in Campbell Co. Notice sale of June 7, 1810, wherein John & Magdalin sold land to Daniel Beckelhymer for 100 cents and other divers & good causes...etc on 9 mile Creek, corner of Jacob Becklehimer to Stephen Lindsay thence by land of Michael France...50 acres. (this would surely indicate he marr one of John & Magdalina's children. The 1832 paper (which may never have been filed) indicated "Daniel B Hymer of one part and Joel B Hymer of the 2nd part, ...agreed on a final division and separation that was made between Daniel and his wife Mary.... I don''t believe they divorced, but they both stayed single until Mary who must have died before 1850, as I am pretty sure the Daniel who marr in Susan Brown, a wid, on 1850.Jul.18 OH.Clermont and lived in Campbell Co, KY were one and the same "Daniel" . Also, in Clermont courer, Feb 1893, OH.Clermont, article stated " Daniel, married but no children...." which again indicates that he didn't remarry until 1850, and doubtful Susan Brown wife would have had children at age 50?? possible but unlikely. As I stated, I don't know that the 1832 article/agreement was even filed with the courts. It appeared to be between Joel and Daniel with Solomon witnessing the paper. As to deed 1825 - it looks like Joel, Jacob, and Daniel had to buy out Michel France in the matter of taking care of his mother, or not making sure he gave money to take care of her. Again, indicates the sisters marring the 3 men, Joel, Jacob and Daniel. Sorry I couldn't supply where and exactly when the 1834 item was filed, if it was. Further...see what I said about believing Joel, Daniel, Jacob & possible Solomon were from the same family, whoever that was. This is a key source for establishing Daniel Behymer's wife as Mary France. Do you know where this is recorded, i.e., in the common pleas court records, land transactions, or ? I would like to obtain a copy. Also, I will be sendin= g you the probate records that we paid for as soon as I have them copied.
