In your book, on page 21 is a reference to a deed dated Oct 2, 1784 in Bedford County, VA, in which P. Henry, Governor of the State of VA issued a grant to John Pickleshimer. I have ordered the Bedford County, VA deed indexes from my local LDS family history center, covering the period 1754 to 1929 and I could find no such entry.
