George Washington was a son of Michael Behymer & Mary Ann Archer, born Mar 6, 1842. (Michael was son of Joel) Where else would you start looking for that marriage? It was not unusual to either go to Hamiliton Co, OH or across the Ohio to Campbell Co, KY to get married. Where better to look than in Hamilton? As for the census reports, has there ever been any children found for this marriage. Who were the 2 males? Could have been from one of the other families --that were living in Clermont? or even 2 of the France kids? I even went so far as to figure the older woman was Magdalena France and the female could have anyone. I have to admit, I believed the newspaper article re Daniel not having any children...or maybe I should say Mary Belle Crosier was quite a good researcher. She was born in Clermont...grew up there and went to Iowa after her marriage. She was a descendant of this family...Elizabeth who married James Robb. Other than that, it was a suggestion we check Hamilton Co. We know he was marr before the 1810 census. Where would you look? Want to solve another illusive Behymer?
