Rick: Thanks for the data dump. We definitely need to look up those Rinker wills. I did a quick look in the AIS (accelerated indexing system) of the LDS Church for the surname Rinker prior to 1800. There were quite a few listed in the Pennsylvania area (Philadelphia, Bucks and Northhampton Counties, predominately). The Henry Rinker you found was also listed in Frederick County, VA as well as various others in Dunmore County, VA. My hunch is to look in PA. I will have to see if I have any prove that the John Waggoner of Clermont County, was the son of Melcher. I think he was, but I am not sure if I can prove it. ---------- > From: Rick Phillips <Edwin-P@worldnet.att.net> > To: John Tippet <johndoetippet@csi.com> > Subject: James Madison Behymer's marriage date > Date: Monday, November 09, 1998 9:52 PM > > Hi John, > > > >John Tippet wrote: > > You listed James Madison's marriage date as 7-44-1871, I assume a typo. > > Can you provide the correct date? > Sorry about that, John, the proper date is 4 July, 1871 in Adams Co. > IL.
