I found another interesting deed for Franklin County, VA in which Henry Kinsy and Mary, his wife of Montgomery County, OH appoints John Kinsy of Botetourt County, VA his power of attorney to ask, demand and receive of Peter Kover of Franklin County, VA monies due him by bond. The transaction was dated 2 Apr 1810. Now, Montgomery County, OH is right next door to Preble County, OH, the county in which Jonathan Behymer is found to reside in the 1820 census. We also know that Jonathan's wife was Susannah Kinsey from the early records of the Mormon Church. My guess, is that Henry and Mary Kinsey, were Susannah's parents, and that Jonathan married Susannah either in Franklin County, VA (no record), or perhaps in Montgomery or Preble County, OH circa 1810 (Jonathan would have been 23 years old in 1810.) I have ordered the land records for Preble County, OH. It will be interesting to see if they shed any light on this guess. John Charles Tippet JohnDoeTippet@csi.com
