The other interesting find was the following from LDS film (#0564894) Index to Deeds for Preble County, OH 1805 - 1837: Nov 21, 1826, Jacob Kinsey by heirs to Jonathan Beckleshimer, Range: 3, Township: 4, Section: 7, 20 acres, pt. S. W. qr, Vol 9, p 104 Aug 19, 1826, Jacob Kinsey by heirs to Daniel Kinsey, Range: 3, Township: 4, Section: 7, 65 acres, pt. S. W. qr, Vol 9, p 108 Aug 18, 1826, Jacob Kinsey by heirs to David Kinsey, Range: 3, Township: 4, Section: 7, 65 acres, pt. S. W. qr, Vol 9, p 108 There is a lot of new information here, that, as far as I know, has not been known heretofore. For example, the above shows that John Beckelhymer, Sr, Jonathan's father was married 3 times, once to Elizabeth Rinker, once to Anna ?, and once to Sophia (Slingluff per John Wayne and John Walter Pickelsimer). This contradicts JWP & JWP's assumption that the Anna and Elizabeth who show up in the early VA records as the wife of John, Sr are one and the same person; they are, in fact, two different individuals. This also shows that John, Sr had a sister, Elizabeth, that Jacob, Sr was John, Sr's brother, that one of John, Sr's sisters married a Lower (BTW: This is one of my direct lines through Elizabeth Beckelhymer, daugher of Joseph and Christina and wife of John J Lower) and that one of John Sr's sisters married a Hough. Isn't this an unbelievable find!!! BTW: I have already ordered the Nauvoo Temple Endowment Register (fiche # 6051326), the LDS Early Church Information Card Index (Kendrick to Knowles) (film # 1750691) for Susannah Kinsey, and the Preble County, OH Deeds, Vol 9-11 (1828 - 1831) (film # 0564909). >From the Preble County deeds, apparently Susannah Kinsey was the likely daughter of Jacob Kinsey, not Henry Kinsey, as I had previously surmised. I would guess that Henry was Susannah's brother. Regards... John Charles Tippet JohnDoeTippet@csi.com
