In a book listing marriages in Lawrence County, IN there are the following: (1) Andrew Beckelshymer md Elizabeth Briney on 30 Sep 1830 (2) Charles Beckelshymer md Ann Briney on 27 Apr 1831 (3) Samuel Guthrie md Catharine Beckelshymer on 13 Aug 1829 (4) Samuel Guthrie md Sophia Haws on 16 Dec 1831 (5) Noah M Matheney md Catharine Bekymer (sic) on 4 Jul 1839 (6) Charlotte Beckelshymer md Fulton Littlon (sic) on 10 Aug 1851 (7) Ann Beckelshymer md James Litton on 22 Nov 1835 (8) Benjamin Beckelshymer md Mary A Holmes on 14 Jan 1838 (9) Henry Beckelshymer md Elizabeth Myers on 4 Feb 1835 (10) Martin Beckelshymer md Caroline Cummings on 22 Sep 1839 Comments on the above: (1) The dates for items (1), (2) and (7) are different than what is listed on the family group sheet you sent me (2) Since Samuel Guthrie married a second time, it is likely that his first wife, Catharine Beckelshymer died circa 1830 (unless they were divorced) (3) What do you make of item 5? I don't know if this is another Behymer or not (4) Item 6 I assume is the Charlotte who was the Daughter of Charles Beckelshymer and Ann Briney (note: there are several other marriages for Littons, so I assume that Littlon was just a misspelling) (5) I don't where the Beckelshymers mentioned in items 7 or 10 fit in.
