    1. Re: Samuel Behymer and Sarah Ward
    2. Cathy I started gathering Behymer, Ferguson, and Lindsay material back in late 1979 or 80's, and at the time, I was just gathering information and really knew nothing about the individual but just filed it away. Mrs. Mary Belle Crosier was apparently born in Clermont Co, OH and later moved to Iowa I believe. She was very interested in the Behymer families, having known a lot of them, and apparently quite old in 1963 as she didn't get around too much, but went back to Clermont Co quite a lot, where she had relatives. I would say that it probably was your Uncle Harold. Mrs Crosier said she did not see the Bible, but that apparently Harold had the information from the bible and knew who had it. Sorry I can't be more help on this. Again, I believe that all the material she worked on was given to the Clermont County Gen. Soc. and you might be able to question them. I do not know, nor did Mrs Crosier know what happened later on the Bible, probably one of the descendants received it. I do know that Mary Belle helped Ralph Behymer in some of his research, and a Maxine Wade (No Hollywood, Los Angeles, Ca). Maxine was researching the Meekers and Behymers. Sallye
