    3. Barb: I haven't posted it yet. I am having some trouble with the program I use to upload the data. I hope to have this resolved before the weekend is up. I will post an announcement regarding the URL to the mailing list when it is up and running and I have had a chance to check it out first. John Charles Tippet JohnDoeTippet@csi.com

I'll be glad to send it to you. I'll need your address. I also looked at this marriage in the register today and this is what is listed: Husband: Abraham Picklesimer Wife: Polly Kingery Date: Month - 10 Day - 19 Year - 1790 Surety - John Wimmer Minister - Randolph Hall Date of Marriage: Month - 10 Day - 28 Year - 1790 This is the first marriage bond that I have run across that has the day as XIX rather than the 19th. I would be very grateful for what you have on the families from Franklin - Montgomery - Floyd Counties. I live about 35 miles from Montgomery Co. Courthouse. How can I help you? I may be able to go next week. I'll be glad to do what I can. Hope to hear from you soon. Barb S.

    3. Barbara: I have Joseph (m Christina Lazena) and Samuel (m Catreana Logan) as sons of John Behymer, Sr, Abraham (m Polly Kingery) and Joseph (m Susanna Trout) as sons of Abraham, Sr, Betsey (m David Landes) as daughter of Jacob Behymer, Sr (note: Abraham, Sr, John, Sr and Jacob, Sr I have as brothers and all sons of Elder John Behymer). I have Abraham (m Betsy Prater) and John (m Nancy Hutts) as parents unknown (although John and John Picklesimer have a theory on the parents of Abraham). I have Suffy (m Chapman Archer) and John, Jr (m Charity Harger) as sons of John, Jr and Barbara Weddle with John, Jr being the son of John, Sr. This will all be included in my initial posting of the first 3 generations of the new Behymer web page, which I hope to get out this weekend. The Picklesimer book, which I heartily recommend, can be obtained from John Walter Picklesimer. A link to his web page (and E-mail address) will be included with the new Behymer web page. I think the book is $33 and includes approximately 75 pages on the early Behymers in VA. This (plus some notes from John Walter) forms the basis for most of the information that I have on the first two generations. 2. Barbara, The Abraham that married "Betsy" Prater, July 29, 1800, Franklin County, Virginia, is my GGGGG-Grandfather. His parents are not known at this time. He and Betsy had two children while living in Virginia with the last one being born in 1805. They then moved to Gallia County, Ohio where they had two more children with the last one being born in 1809. From Gallia County, they moved to Floyd County, Kentucky. Their first child that was born there was born in 1813. John

    3. John T. and list members: This group began almost two years ago when Tom and I met over the net. We began to "meet" other Behymer researchers and soon discovered the many variations of the name. As time went on we grew so large that it became difficult to email everyone without leaving someone out, so we (at Tom's gentle(?) prodding) finally agreed to become our own mail list. Since our group now includes Picklesimers, Bechlesheimers, etc. and they contribute a lot to our research, I would like to see a more inclusive name for our group instead of the Behymer Web Site or whatever. This is just a thought. If no one else thinks this is important, it won't bother me. I just thought this might be a good time to bring this up. Twila

    3. Sounds like a good idea to me too. Sorry, but I've been pretty much out of touch lately too -- this is the first time I've even read my email in nearly 2 weeks. I've done some research over the past several years on the Northern KY Behymers as I am descended from them. I already have most of my genealogy posted at http://members.iglou.com/wbehymer/ , but don't have sources listed in this version. I'm sure I won't have time in the near future to put anything together for inclusion in the initial release of the "complete" Behymer genealogy. But I'll get to it as soon as I can. William R.
