Rob, Darke County used to have a really active mailing list with lots of helpful folks. Since Maiser died I've lost contact with them, but you can probably find the address on Rootsweb. Hope this helps. Tom Tom Robison Ossian, Indiana tcrobi@adamswells.com Never forget the importance of history. Rob and others on the list, In looking over some of my material, I found conflicting info on Sarah Elizabeth BEHYMER, daughter of Solomon and Hester Johns BEHYMER. I would also like a record of them in the 1900 Clermont OH Census, (or Hamilton Co.?) if anyone has it. Believe Sarah had died by then, would surely have moved out of the home by then if living. I have Sarah Elizabeth b. 25 Dec 1870 d. young-2 yrs. Then I have the following census: 1880 Clermont/OH/Pierce, Ninevah Solomon age 39-OH; Hester age 34-OH/OH/PA; Edwin age 13-OH; Sarah age 10-OH; Lee Andrew age 7-OH. Could Sarah have been 12 yr. old at death, instead of 2? Does anyone have any other info on her? Thanks. Linda
Pam, I tried emailing you and all my postings have been bounced back to me. Please email me @ davepark@ptd.net. Thanks! Deb
Rob, Thanks for the census. Also would like any spouses, marriage dates, children, death dates and death places for any children of Elijah and Susan. Kathy
I would be interested in Deb's information on Benjamine Becklhymer of Fountain, IN. Please e-mail to p_macrae@yahoo.com' Thanks, Pam. ---Veysey <veysey@coos.or.us> wrote: > > If you are interested in Deb's info on Benjamin Becklhymer of Fountain, > IN, please indicate. John I sent you smail today, what I found on the deeds I have for Virginia, plus some misc things you might like to see. I am getting organized - slightly - but still didnt find KY deeds and OH deeds. When I got a new computer, I didn't get all the old programs on the new computer, but think I found a way to do it. While I work, I try to listen to a man who knows computers ...on the radio. As soon as I get this program that should help me, i will run off KY and OH, and we shouldn't have to get all of the ones you have, unless you should actually want the real deeds. When I read them, I just took down the pertinent info. Sallye
Cathy, I have a note attached to the James & Margaret Purkhiser Beckelhymer file that someone had a query re Hannah & Henry F. Stultz Beckelhymer, who was a daughter of James & Margaret and a sister of Jackson C. (brother to Hannah. I noted the query as 12-8-98, apparently did not answer it but he stated that Henry F. Stultz was born 9-21-1837 in Batavia, Clermont, OH, was a sgt in Co L - 5th Ohio Cav, and they went to Rockwall Co, TX after the war. His name was Eugene Fowlkes, and his e-mail was efowikes@worldnet.att.net. Maybe he is still there and you can get more info from him. Hope this will help you. If you don't get help there, I believe Clermont Co Gen Soc published a book in 1980 and had most of James & Margaret Purkhiser Beckelhymer family in it....."1980 Clermont Co, OH". I don't think we can be certain who the parents are of James. Now, if you can't find info there, let me know and I will make photocopies of my FRS & sources for the family and mail you...would need your address.. Sallye

Rob >> Well, since you are talking about my mother and father, I think I can answer this! The data you have is for the one and the same man -- my father, Walter Albert Behymer. Walter Albert Behymer was indeed born June 3, 1921 (Bethel, Ohio) and died May 5, 1992 (Fresno, California). He married Lacine Blair on October 31, 1943 (Fort Des Moines, Iowa). Lacine (my mother) was born on October 30, 1924 (Stewart, Oklahoma). They have three daughters: Cathleen Alison (Behymer) Silva b. 09-07-46 Paula Diane Behymer b. 05-25-48 Barbara Elise Behymer Trevino b. 05-15-52 How did you happen to come across information about my dad? I was beginning to give up that anyone on this list had any information about my side of the Behymers. Cathy (Behymer) Silva
John Tippet, How do you do it all? I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the wonderful work you are doing. I have learned so much from you and others on this list! It amazes me that you are able to work on so many branches of your family at once! I have trouble venturing away from the Behymer side too far, guess because I still have a few missing relatives, the children of Matilda and William BEHYMER. Keep up the good work--it's such help and enjoyment for all of us on the list, I'm sure. Thanks a lot. Linda
Hello! Does anyone have any info on the children of Elijah Behymer (1794 - 1868) and wife, Susan? Besides Daniel, who has been discussed, I have Aaron, Frances Elizabeth,. William, Sarah, Henry(my line),Susan, Lucien Taylor, Isabelle, Nancy, Charles and Alice. I have a lot of blank spaces that need to be filled in. I'm willing to exchange what info that I have. Kathy

I forgot to mention the URL. It is: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/JohnDoeTippet John Charles Tippet JohnDoeTippet@csi.com
I posted a major update to my web page today whcih includes the following: (1) Added Behymer deeds for Botetourt and Henry County, VA (2) Updated Clermont County deeds to include the Jacob Kinsey and Enoch Parvin deeds and re-sorted the list chronologically instead of by name (3) Updated the Pittman genealogy (I have been able to extend this line by one generation back into Orange County, NC) (4) Added another of my lines, the Bartholomew Chapple genealogy (5) Added a significant update (documenting a major breakthrough that I made just before Xmas) to the Lower genealogy including many Lower deeds. This is a pioneer family that arrived in Clermont about the same time as the Beckelhymers from Montgomery County, VA. John Charles Tippet JohnDoeTippet@csi.com
