My great-grandmother, Blanche Beebe's (married name was Belton) family originally came from the New England area as well. In Vermont, I believe. They moved to San Fransisco, CA in the late 1800's. I was to say the town was Birmingham...something with a "B". I also have pictures from there that show a little boy named Reid Beebe, who might have been a cousin.
