Greg, I have a copy of the LDS CD-ROM set of the 1880 US Census. The following entry appears to be the Charles and Emma Beebe that you are looking for: Census Place: 19th Ward, New York, New York, New York Rel Sex Mar Age Born Fa: Mo: Occ: Charles F. BEEBE Self M M 31 NY NY NY Tea Merchant Emma BEEBE Wife F M 27 NY NY NY At Home Walter BEEBE Son M S 2 NY NY NY At Home Charles E. BEEBE Fath M M 50 NY NY NY Tea Merchant Jane BEEBE Moth F M 51 NY NY NY At Home Alfred BEEBE Bro M S 21 NY NY NY At Home Kate ROLINSON Oth F W 55 IRE IRE IRE Cook Johannah SHEEHAN Oth F S 28 IRE IRE IRE Servant Mary NEARY Oth F S 52 IRE IRE IRE Domestic Alice BRADY Oth F S 30 IRE IRE IRE Domestic Source: FHL Film 1254895 NARA Film T9-0895 Page 521D ----- There are IGI entries that show that Charles Francis Beebe married Emma Bowne on 21 Sep 1876 in Flushing, Queens, NY and that Alfred Lockwood Beebe was born on 21 Jan 1859 in New York City to Charles Edwin Beebe and Jane Blakeney Wade. This strongly suggests that the 1880 census entry is the correct one and supplies the next generation names. While there are IGI entries that show that Charles and Emma had three children born in Oregon, the census entry strongly suggests that at least their oldest child was born in New York. A quick check of ancestry.com, familysearch.org, and gendex.com failed to turn up any related entries. ----- Cheers, Mike Moak
