So far here's what I found: All were born some time in the early 1750s. This is based on AGBI and approximate ages when they married. Bedsaul and Bledsoe both married Sarahs, have no clue who Bedsole married. At some time during their lives all lived in North Carolina. Bedsaul and Bledsoe both also lived in Virginia. Bedsaul and Bedsole, disappeared from records sometime in the early 1800s. Bedsaul was living in Buncombe(?) county in 1808 and Bedsole is last found signing the marriage bond for Duncan Bedsole in 1825 in Bladen County. (Unless of course there is record of Bedsaul after that time.) Jean, I wish your Quaker CDs will hurry and arrive! There are three Bedsole names that if found there will answer tons of questions: Vincent/Vinson, William (pre 1775) and John. In looking for things that might tie this bunch together I did find one VERY common thread. At some time the names Bedsaul and Bedsole are both misspelled on census records as BEDSOL. This might sound minor but hey when you are desperate anything sounds promising!
