    3. Hi Jean, Rebecca Jones is the correct wife for Thomas Sr. You may be confusing him with Junior whose wife was Charlotte English. Which by the way if anyone out there has a clue on who Charlotte's parents were I would be thrilled to know! I am afraid that Bedsoles were not very imaginative when naming kids so like most families we have the repeat names over and over again! 3. Peggy, I went looking and found that I had entered ever BEDSOLE I could find from Banks McLaurin's notes, and so I have a number of duplicates. They may be the same folks, but since I wasn't sure, I have a number. I found this in my files on Thomas BEDSOLE, Sr., but he has a different wife. Is this the wrong one? 3. We all have a relative or two (or more) that is driving us crazy trying to find something on them. We, Bedsoles suffer from Vincent, John and Thomas Sr. It is unlikely that even old Santa is going to bring us the gift of their heritage. I know that we all think that we have exhausted every avenue but if everyone who is subscribed would thow out a name or two (more if you want) who knows someone on the list just might have something. Doesn't have to be within your main line, be it Bedsole, Bedsaul or what ever spelling you have. Sometimes the folks that our people married hold clues, so throw us your hard to find "married intos" or whoever is driving you crazy. Here's my "please help me project": Travis Bedsole(son of Thomas Sr.) born about 1792, married Nancy Simmons. Who were the kids of this marriage? All I have is "Son of" and "Daughter of". Did they have names? Did they live long enough to marry and produce more Bedsoles? Peggy

Don't have much of anything on the spouses who married Bedsole's, but when I was trying to put this list together, I was only concerned with the Bedsole crowd and the spouses would have been another whole 50 more years to figure out........JD

    3. Hi All, A BEDSAUL cousin of mine has just added the BEDSAUL name to the GenForum. Here's her reply back. You might wish to add on to this method, as another means of connecting with the broader group of researchers out there on the net. Thanks, Jean Cuevas =========================================================== >You can reach the surname by clicking on the following URL: > >http://genforum.genealogy.com/bedsaul/ > >We are pleased that you enjoy GenForum enough to participate. Please let your fellow researchers know of your addition to our list so that they might post queries. And please feel free to post to your data on this surname to get the ball rolling. Obviously, the more researchers using the list, the more we all get out of it. > >Because each name takes space on our server, we monitor new names added to our list. If no one posts within 4 weeks of adding a name to GenForum, we feel that we must remove it to make way for other names. 3. Hi All, Wanted to pass on this preliminary information that I received from Bobbie Newham concerning Lucinda Bedsole (David Bedsole, Thomas Jr, Thomas Sr.) I had only one marriage listed for Lucinda which was William Kelly. Bobbie is a descendent of the first marriage of Lucinda which was to David Kent. There were two children of this marriage David Jr and Catherine. It appears that Lucinda was very young at the time of the marriage and that David was shot will running for a political office. Bobbie is attempting to forward additional dates and information on this part of the family. I will send it along to you as soon as I receive it. Peggy
