ENG I can't find a birth for William Adams around 1749 or a marriage to Hannah (?). All eight children are on the same batch between 1788 - 1807. If his birthdate and first child are correct this would mean him marrying at age 39. So it could be his second marriage. There is a earlier family of William & Elizabeth in Maulden around 1770. Did Elizabeth die ? It seems that there are possibly gaps in the Maulden marriage records around this time. Perhaps some pages around 1760-1780 were destroyed or indecipherable. I noticed a few odds and sods from Maulden appearing on a variety of adjustment batches with A prefixes and including marriages from a number of miscellaneous parishes.
