Hi I am trying to track down a Thomas Hooker b abt 1740 ,caddington I presume,he married Sarah unknown but between them they had their 1 child Thomas 25 dec 1760 and I think their last of abt 16 children,Susan in 1799. My connection is their child Zechariah Hooker's granddaughter Mary Anne hooker married William Butterfield in 1847. Caddington is an odd parish, partly in Beds, but also part in Herts. Whilst Caddington PR has been extracted onto the IGI there's nothing showing anywhere in Beds for Thomas, so you also need to check Herts. There's a marriage in Flamstead (a couple of miles from Caddington) on 22 Sept 1760 between Thomas Hooker and Sarah Kilby, which looks just about right for a first child baptised in Dec 1760.
