Hello I am hoping to spend a couple of days visiting the record office in Bedford next month and would also like to take in the villages of Marston Moretaine, Wootton and Cardington where many of my ancesters lived - but I will be using public transport, and would appreciate some suggestions regarding transport links and possibly places to stay. Are there still regular trains running out to Marston on the Bedford/Bletchley line (I believe the nearest station would be Stewartby)? Or is there a bus service which would be more convenient? Any suggestions appreciated - but maybe they ought to be sent off list as this is a bit off-topic.
