In 1591 a Gilbert PARELL from Bedford was impressed for Military Service in Ireland according the the Muster lists which you can buy from Beds Historical Record Society. Also in Bedford, Sept 14th 1696: ...Sister PARRILL alias COOPER was asked to appears before the Elders of Mill Street Independent Church to 'admonish her about going to the publick' .
