    3. Hello Roger Thank you so much for your reply to my e-mail. My e-mail address is richard.powers@btopenworld.com I received an e-mail, which you may have seen posted, from David which pretty well confirmed that the retired draper William in the 1851 census was not George's father. However, the William that David noted as being 55 in the 1841 census was most probably George's father as Elizabeth, Wiliam and John all tie in with the children of William's 2nd marriage to Elizabeth. I am also v comfortable with William being a blacksmith. This William appears to have died in 1846. He could not find the retired draper in the 1841 census because of a fault on his CD. However, this does not tell me which of the two elder William's was the father of George and which of the two was the son of George and Elizabeth, baptised in Biggleswade 08/02/1782 as both were of very similar ages. If you have any information which may help in settling this matter and indeed anything which may take the family line back further then I would be most pleased to hear about it and I look forward to hearing from you again. 3. Hi to the LARKINS researchers, When you have resolved your Biggleswade folk the best you can I would be pleased to add the family to the Biggleswade History Society web site. The same goes for anyone else researching in Biggleswade of course. I am happy to take Biggleswade-related information in almost any format, Gedcom, RTF, Text etc. A presentation in outline descendant tree is the most compact.
