Hi all, Without trying to be mean spirited or anything....when did the Bedford List become the KING list....or did I miss something? I had a couple of days away from my computer and nearly everything I have seen on the list since my return has been KING. Was there a special on or something that I missed? cheers Linda (Perth West Oz) BILLINGTON - Belgrave, Leicestershire BROWN - Middlesex, England CONNOR - King's County, Ireland DERRY - Belgrave, Leicestershire GARNER - Wasperton, Warwickshire GODDARD - Kenilworth & Coventry,Warwickshire GOODWIN - Caddington, Bedfordshire HARRIS - Belgrave, Leicestershire KELLY - Armagh, Co. I apologize for sending such a detailed report. I can't seem to figure out the nice condensed ones that others use. Stella, thanks for your note, although it is indeed two different Cook families, both with parents of Thomas and Martha. My family were at 1 Albert Street, Dunstable in 1881. You were a great help to me in the past, when I first started this addictive hobby about four years ago. Ian, I will search out those King/Tomkin marriages. Thanks for that info. My particular branch of King moved to Islington, London in 1881. Very best wishes Mary Lou on Vancouver Island, Canada ==== BEDFORD Mailing List ==== The Bedfordshire Surnames List can be viewed at: http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~hughw/bedf.html
