    3. No I don't, Eileen, but I dearly wish I had some distinct names such as Tristram, in King tree. Mine were all John and William, Sarah and Elizabeth! And each generation used the same names.

    3. Eileen, Not my line, but ... I think Trustrum King was baptised Nov 4th 1727, son of William King, farmer, and Mary. Trustrum married Mary Gudgin of Pulloxhill, at Pulloxhill, June 18th 1761. I'm aware of 6 children:- 1) Elizabeth, who probably married John Kempson of Flitwick. 2) Mary, who probably married William Peacock, a widower. 3) William, who married firstly Margaret Lancaster, then, secondly, Rebecca Geddings of Silsoe. William died October 16th 1841. It's possible that William married for a third time to Ann French in 1835, as their son was called Trustrum. If that were the case, there must have been a fair age difference. 4) Sarah, who probably married John Walker of Stagsden. 5) Sophia, who probably married Thomas Estwick of Biddenham. 6) Melly, who married George Warples of North Crawley, Buckinghamshire. Mary Gudgin died July 27th 1823, in her 85th year. Trustrum King died 14th December 1782, aged 55, (buried 18th December, described as a farmer) and left a will which is at Bedford Record Office. Trustrum's father William, died 8th September 1755, aged 59, (buried 11th September, described as a farmer) and also left a will which is at Bedford Record Office. I haven't (as far as I can see) looked at the wills. (I haven't looked at these lines since the late 1990's.) The dates of death are taken from Arthur Weight Matthews's 1913 survey of Haynes burial ground. My own King lines come from neighbouring Southill, and could easily be from an apparently unrelated Haynes family.
