I am trying to help a friend and would like to know if anyone has William Alfred ANSELL in their tree or any other ANSELLS from Shillington/Barton who could possibly be related. Hi Eunice I have Thomas Ansell and Elizabeth Richardson, no bap dates yet, but marriage was at Holwell 3 Sep 1714, Thomas may have been born at Ickleford and Elizabeth at Arlesey, Beds. I have three children for them Arabella 16 jan 1715, Henry 1717 and Thomas 1722, all born at Ickleford. Arabella died 26 Mar 1768 at Arlesey & was married to Joseph Newberry, married at Ickleford 24 Oct 1733, and their 9 children were all born at Arlesey. Hello Rod and Josie, A quick question for you ... did any of your Butterfields immigrate to Canada? My grandfather's sister Ethel Caroline Curtis married a man named Walter Butterfield in the March quarter of 1908 in Lambeth, Surrey. (FreeBMD Volume 1d Page 445.) Shortly after they married they came to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada where they raised their family. I haven't been able to find out much about Walter at all.
