Hi, I am stumped by Rachel Peart born approx 1778 in the Houghton Regis area This is the info I have : 1807 14 Oct John Crips of Tilsworth married Rachel Peart Hockliffe 1851 census High Street, Houghton Regis Rachel Cripps 72 nurse Houghton Regis 1861 census Grocer’s shop, High St, Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire Rachel Cripps mother wid 84 Houghton Regis I can find only 3 instances of Peart on the IGI (I think coverage of Bedford is quite comprehensive ?) at the time, in Toddington. I think also Peart may be a version of Parrot which appears to be common in the area. I can't find any Rachel born in the area at the time on the IGI. So - what is her real name and where and when was she born. She may be born later - ages may be a bit vague in the censu returns - if true then she would have been in her late 20's when she got married. Any help appreciated.
