Hi Peter I have Ann DENNIS born 10 Jul 1748 married to William FRESHWATER on 12 Sep 1768 at Blunham. You wouldnt find her baptised at Blunham since she was born at Ampthill, daughter of Samuel DENNIS b.24 Jun 1716 and Elizabeth PAGE b.1715, both at Ampthill, and married at ampthill 12 Feb 1737. Four siblings as far as I know at the moment, Mary 1738, Thomas 1744, John 1750 and Sarah 1752. I would be interested in any information you have on her descendants as I havent found any of them yet. Have you any information that might help me? I can find no record of an Ann DENNIS being baptised in Blunham in the 1730s or 1740s. Or, could she have been the widow of Henry DENNIS by whom she had already had seven children in the 1740s and 1750s, concluding with Rachel in 1761. However, I cannot find any record of Henry's death or burial in Blunham either. Ann DENNIS and William FRESHWATER had seven children, of whom only two appear to have survived infancy, which in itself might be a pointer towards an older mother. I should be most grateful for any information that anyone might have on this, or any, Ann DENNIS.
