Hi Suzanne, While not saying you WON'T find a baptism or birth record from 1650-1660, you'd be very lucky if you did. This was the latter days of the People's Republic of England - when births, marriages and deaths were registered Civilly before Magistrates and the Established Church was actively discouraged from keeping registers :-( After the Restoration in 1660 the vast majority of the Magistrates' Records were destroyed.
