Helen, IMPEY is not a very common name but we do have one family with Bedford connections: Thomas IMPEY was a farm bailiff in Hertfordshire. His son Peter was born Well Head, Herts 1851. Peter married Martha Alice HINSBY 8 May 1873 in St.Neots Wesleyan Chapel. They had four children: Samuel James IMPEY b. May 1874 St.Neots Martha Alice IMPEY b. November 1875 Kentish Town Frank Peter IMPEY b. February 1878 Eaton Socon Sidney Thomas IMPEY b.November 1881 Kentish Town We believe that at some stage there was also a Biggleswade connection.
