Hi Mary Lou Harriets other siblings were born in Sussex and Surrey. The family is listed in the 1881 census as living in Clapham Surrey. Harriet is listed as born abt 1833. My grtgrandfather was Richmond James Gooch Harriets's brother. Richmond married Elizabeth Lee at St Pancras London. Hi Trish Well, I am sorry, but I cannot find any connection to your Gooch family. I had no idea, it was as common a name as it is. I correspond with a Gooch cousin I have discovered.
