    3. Hi Richard I'd love to know how you discovered who sponsored your family? Any clues for other researchers as to how you found out? 3. Marlene I have to concede I discovered that Susan Webb went to Canada purely by accident. Having lost her after the 1861 Census I was doing some random searches on the internet using "Google" entering the Webb name and Susan's home village in Bedfordshire from which I came up with someone with similar Webb interests and a Canadian connection. I subsequently did searches on an Odell Discussion Board http://genforum.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/pageload.cgi?Odell,Canada::odell::216.html and found several people with links between Tingrith and Canada. This lead to me getting hold of a very detailed family history of the Odell family who settled in Canada and a number of wonderful photographs. A great deal of good fortune but digging around on the Internet can come up with some great results Hope this helps Richard ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marlene Shipman" <marlene.s@xtra.co.nz> To: <BEDFORD-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, January 30, 2006 7:39 AM Subject: Re: [BDF] emigration to Canada > > Hi Richard > I'd love to know how you discovered who sponsored your family?
