Hi everyone, I'm new to the list and desperately searching for a missing Margaretta MORGAN(S) b.abt. 1879; I assumed it to be Bedford, because she was living at 17 Chapel St. Bedford at the time of her marriage to William SCHOFIELD. He was living at 48 Trafalgar St. Bedford, and they were married at St. Thomas church, bedford. There is a bit of a mystery about this lady, who sadly died age 30, having lost one 2 year old son, and the nine year old died the year following her death, all at Atherton Lancs. I would greatly appreciate any help at all. Hi Pauline, I have found the following which is the only Lancashire born Margaretta in the 1881 census. It also conveniently gives the mothers maiden name as well! What luck.
