Hi Hoping that someone may be able to help: Edith Madeline Preston b circa 1896. who married Alexander Wilfred Oyler on 28 Sept 1929 at Notting Hill London.Her address quoted at that time was 57 Waterloo Road Bedford. Her sister was: Frederica Elizabeth Preston b circa 1894. She was a spinster and died at 58 Castle Road Bedford in 1960. Their father was Frederick Charles Preston b approx 1865, a civil servant, in 1929 a retired Postmaster or Portmaster. They do not appear in any census as far as I can tell and would presumably have lived somewhere abroad prior to 20thc. I believe Frederick's father was George Preston born 23rd March 1818 in Cardington, son of Samuel & Edith, Farmers of Cotton End Cardington. George also does not seem to appear in ! any census but was still alive in 1874, being mentioned in Mother's Will having at least 6 children. If anyone knows anything about this family I would appreciate hearing of them. Also if anyone has access to Kellys covering Bedford around 1929 I would appreciate knowing who was living at 57 Waterloo Road. Clive Jones
